Pallet racking is heavy duty warehouse racking for palletized cargo: vertical steel structure that stores pallets in the air instead of on floor space. A racking system is only as good as its fit, so we design each one around your warehouse dimensions, pallet sizes, cargo weights, forklift equipment and picking pattern, then fabricate, install and certify it.
Six system types, one correct answer
Every warehouse has a different balance of storage density and retrieval speed. We supply and install all six mainstream configurations:
- Selective — every pallet directly accessible. The fastest retrieval; the standard for mixed-SKU warehouses.
- Double Deep — pallets stored two deep, reached with a double-deep reach truck. Roughly 30% more positions than selective in the same floor area.
- Drive-In / Drive-Through — forklifts enter the rack lanes. Maximum density for few SKUs in large quantities.
- Live Storage — pallets move on inclined rollers, first-in-first-out. Suited to date-sensitive stock.
- Shuttle — a powered shuttle carries pallets deep into the lane. Density of drive-in with less forklift travel.
Our installed base runs from 500-pallet cold stores to an 11,000-pallet double deep system for a confectionery manufacturer in Ranala, with pallet weights from 1,000 kg to 2,000 kg.
Designed for the whole storage process
Racking decides more than storage count: aisle widths set forklift cycle times, beam levels set lift heights, and lane depths set stock rotation. We design the complete flow — receiving, put-away, retrieval, dispatch — so the system saves handling time every day it stands.
Warehouse racking in Sri Lanka since 1999
We have engineered warehouse racking and storage solutions for Sri Lankan factories and exporters for over 25 years — apparel, food, pharmaceuticals, printing, plastics and tea. Every racking system is checked against safety and load standards before handover, and we service what we install.
